HELP WITH AN IMPORTANT STUDY ON WELL-BEING DURING PREGNANCY
Our research projects focus on the mother-baby relationship because of its critical importance for infant development. The bonding process begins during pregnancy and sets the stage for postnatal caregiving and nurturance. It also is important for mother's mental health and healthy behaviors during pregnancy. Our goals with the BLOOM study are to better understand the bonding process across pregnancy and determine whether we can enhance bonding through an intervention that includes 14 brief mindfulness stress-relief and attachment parenting exercises. We are currently recruiting women (18 or over) who are less than 18 weeks pregnant to participate in our study. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you will be compensated for your time. Thank you for considering helping out with this important study! ~Karina Shreffler, PhD; Principal Investigator |
